
Radio
Broadcasting:
Within
the
degree
program
is
an
in-depth
exploration
of
the
relationship
between
broadcasting
and
the
Internet,
and
a
general
education
component
that
develops
problem-solving
and
human
relationship
skills,
and
contributes
to
the
shaping
of
a
well
informed
broadcasting
personality.
Students
who
successfully
complete
the
15-month
program
will
be
awarded
an
Associate
of
Applied
Science
Degree
in
Radio
Broadcasting.
Students
are
prepared
for
entry-level
broadcasting
positions,
which
typically
include
disk
jockey
shows,
newscasts,
audio
productions,
and
sales.
Television
Production:
The
Television
Production
Program
at
Brown
College
covers
all
the
positions
behind
the
camera.
Students
experience
substantial
hands-on
education
in
our
multi-camera
studio
and
on
location,
where
they
encounter
the
challenges
of
shooting
in
an
uncontrolled
environment.
Students
who
successfully
complete
the
15-month
program
will
be
awarded
an
Associate
of
Applied
Science
Degree
in
Television
Production.
Students
are
prepared
for
entry-level
broadcast
positions,
which
typically
include
master
control
operator,
camera
operator,
and
floor
director.
