an
Accounting
Specialist
do?:
An
Accounting
Specialist
is
responsible
for
handling
a
number
of
accounting-related
tasks
more
complex
and
demanding
than
those
of
an
Accounting
Assistant,
and
for
serving
in
a
support
role
to
a
Certified
Public
Accountant
or
Accountants.
Duties
include
a
more
hands-on
role
with
money
and
with
the
computer-based
management
of
accounting
transactions.
Students
earning
a
certificate
or
diploma
as
an
Accountin
Specialist
can
also
find
employment
in
Bookkeeping,
Billing,
and
Payroll/Staff
Accountant
positions.
