Certification

an
essential
entry-level
exam
in
two
parts
required
for
aspiring
computer
support
professionals.
Students
must
pass
the
A+
Core
Hardware
Exam
and
the
A+
Core
Operating
System
Technologies
Exam.
CompTIA
A+
Certification
is
by
definition
vendor
neutral,
but
as
with
much
of
the
business
world,
emphasis
is
placed
upon
still-supported
Microsoft
operating
systems.
What

the
Pre-Requisites
for
taking
the
A+
Certification
Exams?:
Students
taking
the
A+
Certification
exams
should
have
a
minimum
of
500
hours
of
hands-on
IT
experience.
As
of
September
2006,
students
must
also
take
the
CompTIA
A+
essentials
test
in
addition
to
one
of
four
other
elective
exams.
What

the
specifics

Certification

Each
exam
takes

90
